Artist Statement
As an artist, my practice is deeply rooted in the exploration of media, drawing from film history and childhood development studies to create works that resonate with nostalgia and contemporary relevance. Through a lens that celebrates the campy nature of art, I dive into its profound implications, joining narratives that bridge the gap between innocence and complexity.
At the core of my artistic journey lies a fascination with storytelling and its connection to our personal experiences. Each piece reflects my memories and experiences, inviting viewers to view my pop culture references in a new light. By merging the whimsical with the profound, I want to start a conversation on the nuanced intersections of art, pop culture, politics, and the human experience.
